Who we are
A plucky, imaginative firm devoted to helping organizations thrive.
Ventrium LLC is a project management firm specializing in change management. We help our clients build resilient organizational cultures, systems, structures, and processes to manage the inevitability of change.
Our story
Partners, not just consultants.
We employ proven integrated change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions and successful outcomes, focusing on both the technical and human aspects of transformation.
We view ourselves as partners — not just with our clients and employees, but with our community and the environment. Our deepest purpose as an organization is to help our clients create adaptive work environments that drive innovation, economic growth, and prosperity.
We bring a disciplined, human-centered approach with a practical understanding of how local context, systems, and people shape successful implementation — operating across Washington, DC, Texas, East and Southern Africa, and South Asia.
Our mission
"To help organizations build resilient cultures, systems, and processes that manage the inevitability of change — and create adaptive work environments that drive innovation, economic growth, and prosperity."
What guides us
Our values
Human-centered execution
We believe that lasting transformation requires people to understand, adopt, and sustain change. Every engagement puts human dynamics at the center.
Practical over theoretical
Our recommendations are grounded in real-world delivery experience. We bring what works, not what looks good on paper.
Partnership over transaction
We view ourselves as partners — invested in our clients' success long after the engagement ends, and in the communities where we work.
Accountability and outcomes
We measure our success by our clients' results. Clarity, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration are non-negotiable in everything we do.
Leadership
Led by practitioners with decades of field experience.
Ventrium's leadership brings deep expertise across project management, international development, change management, and organizational effectiveness.
Shaun Watson
Founder & President | Creator of the Human Intelligence Infrastructure Framework (HIIF)™
Shaun Watson is an organizational strategist and management consultant with more than 25 years of experience spanning project and program management, financial analysis, federal acquisition, organizational change, organizational development, international development, and professional development across public, private, and international environments.
Her career includes financial analysis within the financial services industry, project and program management supporting small and medium-sized businesses and multinational corporations, and senior program and procurement leadership supporting the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). This breadth of experience has given her a cross-sector perspective on how organizations translate strategy into execution, manage resources, navigate change, and build the capabilities required for sustainable performance.
Shaun has worked across diverse organizational and cultural environments, including private-sector businesses, multinational organizations, federal government institutions, international development programs, and higher education. Her international experience includes work across Africa and South Asia, complemented by service as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Kenya and Zambia.
Her interdisciplinary perspective is further grounded in a Master's degree in Applied Sociology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, with a focus on Gender and Economic Development, and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Houston.
Drawing on this combination of financial, operational, organizational, and cross-cultural experience, Shaun created the Human Intelligence Infrastructure Framework (HIIF)™, an original organizational capabilities framework focused on the human capabilities organizations need to navigate complexity, lead change, collaborate effectively, and sustain performance.
Organizations can invest in the right strategy, technology, processes, and talent — and still struggle to perform when the human infrastructure connecting them is weak.Learn more about HIIF™
